Founding Director
Alka Parikh is a Development Economist with a keen interest in people centered development. She is a PhD from Cornell University, USA and is a gold medalist in M.A. program from Mumbai University. She was the Dean Research in Amity Univerity Mumbai and Dean of the School of Liberal Arts in Bennett University. She has the experience of teaching in many Institutes including Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai School of Economics and Public Policy and D A Institute of Information and Communication Technology. She has many publications to her credit, including four books. She also has the experience of working with the corporate and NGO sectors.
Aaisha Nazrana
Aaisha is a research officer at the Centre for Field Learning (CFFL). She holds a Master's degree in Economics and a Bachelor's degree (Honors) in Economics from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Prior to joining CFFL, she gained professional experience in the education sector while working at The Scholar School and Study Point, where she contributed to the growth and development of students. She was also associated with a Non-Governmental Organization, The Welfare Foundation, New Delhi. Her research interests include environmental economics, development economics, and agricultural economics. She has authored peer-reviewed papers in these areas.
